Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of this website and, where you sign up, to the Step Into AI platform services. The services are provided to businesses, not consumers. By using the services you agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
1. Who we are
Step Into AI is a trading name of Manchester PC Services Ltd, company number 13356970, registered at Jactin House, 24 Hood Street, Ancoats, Manchester, M4 6WX ("we", "us").
2. The services
We provide a business communications and customer management platform which may include, depending on your plan, business telephony, an AI receptionist, customer relationship management, messaging, follow-up automation, marketing tools, website services and reporting. Your order confirmation states which services and allowances are included in your plan.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure, for the actions of people you give access to, and for making sure your use of the services complies with the law, including rules on telephone marketing, electronic marketing and data protection. Our acceptable use policy forms part of these terms.
4. Automated actions and approval
The platform can perform actions automatically, including sending messages and answering calls. You control which actions require approval and which run automatically. You are responsible for the configuration you choose and for reviewing the output of automated features. AI-generated content can be inaccurate. We recommend that anything involving pricing, commitments or sensitive customer situations is set to require approval.
5. Telephony
Where your plan includes telephony, calls are carried over the internet and depend on your connection. The service is not a replacement for a landline for emergency calls in the event of a power or internet failure. Number porting is subject to the cooperation of your existing provider and the rules of the UK regulator. Call allowances are subject to fair use as described in your order confirmation.
6. Fees and payment
Fees are stated in your order confirmation, are in pounds sterling, exclude VAT, and are billed monthly in advance unless agreed otherwise. Usage beyond included allowances is billed at the rates in your order confirmation. We may change fees on 30 days' notice; if you do not accept a change you may cancel before it takes effect.
7. Term and cancellation
Phone and Answer plans are monthly rolling. Grow and Business plans have an initial term of three months, then continue monthly. Either party may cancel by giving notice by email before the next billing date. On cancellation we will provide an export of your data on request and delete it in line with our data processing terms. Where you are porting a number away we will keep telephony live until the port completes.
8. Your data
You own your data. We process the personal data of your customers on your behalf as a processor under our data processing terms. We use your data only to provide the services and as described in our privacy notice. We do not use your data to train AI models.
9. Intellectual property
We own the platform and its software. You own your content, your customer data and any content generated for you by the platform once approved. You grant us a licence to host and process your content to provide the services.
10. Availability and support
We aim to keep the services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We will give notice of planned maintenance where practical. Support is provided by email and, on applicable plans, by phone during UK business hours.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data, and our total liability in any 12 month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. The services are tools to help you run your business; results depend on how you use them and we do not guarantee any particular outcome.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate the services if you breach these terms or the acceptable use policy, fail to pay, or if your use puts the platform or other customers at risk. We will tell you why and, where the breach can be remedied, give you a reasonable opportunity to fix it.
13. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part is found unenforceable the rest remains in effect. These terms, your order confirmation and the policies referred to in them are the whole agreement between us.
